About me:

Hi! I’m Hannah Hochsprung, a student at Seattle Pacific University, where I’m pursuing my passion for nursing and playing collegiate golf. My journey has been shaped by my love for people, my dedication to growth, and, most importantly, my faith in the Lord.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Living with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease since childhood, I’ve spent years in and out of hospitals, supported by incredible doctors, nurses, and nutritionists who showed me what true care looks like. Their kindness and dedication inspired me to pursue nursing—I want to be that same source of love, support, and validation for others.

Golf has also played a huge role in my life, teaching me resilience, patience, and the importance of always striving to improve. Competing at the collegiate level has pushed me beyond my limits, both mentally and physically, and has taught me lessons I carry into every aspect of my life. I believe that hard work, discipline, and faith can take you further than talent alone ever could.

Beyond school and golf, I’m always looking for ways to grow—whether it’s deepening my faith, learning something new, or simply being there for others. I believe in the power of kindness, the strength found in perseverance, and the beauty of walking alongside others in their struggles and triumphs.

Wherever life takes me, my goal is simple: to serve others with love and compassion, to trust in God’s plan, and to keep growing into the person I was meant to be.
